An Ordinanc:e to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
and the city Council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entit:led "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments
which havE~ been approved by either the Board of
CommissionE~rs of Richmond County or the City Council of
Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of
the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map by the modification of the,
conditions
placed
on
the
R-3B
(Multiple-family
Residential) zoning in 1997 (Z-97-49) affecting property
located whl3re the southeast right-Of-way line of Grand
Boulevard i.ntersects with the southwest right-Of-way line
of sixth Avenue; and for the repeal of ordinances in
conflict hE~rewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RIClmOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That: the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map by the modification of the
conditions p1acE~d on the R-3B (Multiple-family Residential) zoning
in 1997 (Z-97-49) affecting property as follows:
Beginning at a point located where the southeast right-
of-way line of Grand Boulevard intersects with the
southwest right-of-way line of sixth Avenue; thence, in
a southeast.erly direction along the southwest right-of-
way line of sixth Avenue a distance of 150.0 feet to a
point located on an unnamed Alley; thence, in a
southwesterly direction along the northwest right-Of-way
line of an unnamed Alley a distance of 115.0 feet to a
point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of
150.0 feet to a point located on the southeast right-of-
way line of Grand Boulevard; thence, in a northeasterly
direction along the southeast right-Of-way of Grand
Boulevard a distance of 115.0 feet to the point of
beginning. This property contains. 40 acres and is known
under the present numbering system as 2014 Grand
Boulevard. '

SECTION II. Thclt this amendment to the comprehensive Zoning Map is
subject to the following stipulation:
That the property be limited to a group personal care
home or those uses allowed in an R-1A Zone.
SECTION III. J~ll Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
