An Ordinan::::e to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entit.led "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments
which hav,e been approved by either the Board of
Commission,ers of Richmond County or the City Council of
Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of
the Consti1:ution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1A (One-family
Residence) and Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone B-2
(General Business) affecting property located on the
northwest right-of-way line of Deans Bridge Road, 816
feet southwest of a point where the centerline of
Kensington Drive East extended intersects the northwest
right-of-way line of Deans Bridge Road; and for the
repeal of <)rdinances in conflict herewith and for other
purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICIIMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That. the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond county on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1A(One-family
Residence) and Zone B-2 (General Business) to Zone B-2 (General
Business) affect:ing property as follows:
Beginning clt a point located on the northwest right-of-
way line of Deans Bridge Road, 816 feet southwest of a
point where the centerline of Kensington Drive East
extended intersects the northwest right-of-way line of
Deans Br idge Road; thence, S 79033 ' 24" W along the
northwest right-of-way line of Deans Bridge Road a
distance of 324.88 feet to a point; thence, N 10027'39"
W a distance of 600.00 feet to a point; thence, N
79033'24" E a distance of 518.83 feet to a point; thence,
S 10027'39'" E a distance of 300.00 feet to a point;
thence, S 79033'24" W a distance of 193.85 feet 'to a
point; thence, S 10026'36' E a distance of 300.00 feet to
the point of beginning. This property contains 5.81
acres.

this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
