An Ordinanc:e to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15,
,1983, enti1:led "An Ordinance ,to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehens.i ve Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
city Council of Augusta, together with all amendments
which havla been approved by either the Board of
commissionlars of Richmond County or the city Council of
,Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of
the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehens.ive Zoning Map 'from Zone R-3C (Multiple-family
Residential) and Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to, Zone
B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the
north righ1:-of-way line of Walton Way, 315 feet, more or
'less, west of the northwest corner of the intersection of
15th Streelt and Walton Way; and for the repeal of
ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That: the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond county on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehen~ive,Zoning Map from Zone R-3C (Multiple-
family Residential) and Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-
2 (General Business) affecting property as follows:
Beginning at a point'located on the north right-of-way
,line of Walton Way, 315 feet, more or less, west of the
'northwest c:::orner of the intersection of 15th street and
Walton Way; thence, in a westerly direction along the
north right-of-way line of Walton Way a distance of 33.5
feet to a, point; thence, in a northerly direction a
distance of 126.83 feet to a point; thence, in a westerly
direction a distance of 48 feet, more or less, to a
point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 7.0
feet to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a
distance of 19.36 feet to a point; thence, in a northerly
directi9n a distance of 152.63 feet to a point located on
the south\lTest right-of-way line of Fenwick Street;
thence, in a southeasterly direction along the southwest
right-of-way line of Fenwick Street a distance of 106.0
feet to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a
distance of 114.0 feet to a point; thence, in an easterly
direction a distance of ,10 feet, more or less, to a
point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 120
feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This

property c()ntains a total of .42 acres and is known under
the present. numbering system as 1523 Walton Way and 1532-
34 Fenwick street.
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
