An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entit.led "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
city Council of Augusta, together with all amendments
which haVla . been approved by ei ther the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of
Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of
the Constit:ution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood
Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting
property located on the northeast corner of the
intersection of Morgan Road and Tobacco Road; and for the
repeal of c:>rdinances in conflict herewith and for other
purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICIIMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That: the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of commissioners of Richmond county on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-1
(Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting
property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the northeast corner of
the intersection of Morgan Road and Tobacco Road; thence,
in a northerly direction along the east right-of-way line
of Morgan Road a distance of 75.0 feet to a point;
thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 114.75
feet to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a
distance of 190.52 feet to a point located on the
northeast right-of-way line of Tobacco Road; thence, in
a northwest:erly d~rection along the northeast right-of-
way line of Tobacco Road a distance of 163.41 feet to the
point of beginning. This property contains. 39 acres and
is known under the present numbering system as 2759
Tobacco Road.

SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
