HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 5990 OLIVE RD Augusta Richmond GA DOCUMENT NAME: 0- 'R~8,- "SC1.~O DOCUMENT TYPE: t)tL\\{l(}\\~{: YEAR: C\CZS BOX NUMBER: oL\ FILE NUMBER: \ ~l\\ NUMBER OF PAGES: cD 7' "4. ~ ":; bRDINANCE NO. .s99ttJ An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board or Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of commissioners of Richmond County or the city Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1A (One-family Residence) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property located on the southwest right-of-way line of Olive Road, 573 feet, more or less, south of the southwest corner of the intersection of Milledgeville Road and Olive Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict her~with and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1A (One-family Residence) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the southwest right-of- way line of Olive Road, 573 feet, more or less, south of the southwest corner of the intersection of Milledgeville Road and Olive Road; thence, in a southerly direction along the southwest right-of-way line of Olive Road a distance of 50.0 feet to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of .279 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 60 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 318 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains. 34 acres and is known under the present numbering ~ystem'as 1913 Olive Road. :: . . -: '" SECTION II. That this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map is subject to the followirig condition: , That vehicle parking shall be in the rear of the property. SECTION III.
