DOCUMENT TYPE:,O'((\ \\\O.f'\C-e.- YEAR: C\~ BOX NUMBER: D-\ FILE NUMBER: \ ~\L\ ~ NUMBER OF PAGES: cO "....., ,"' ;;;-:-- _) _1 ;- " ;- ~ ORDINANCE NO.1'9~~ An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1A (One-family Residence) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property located on the southeast right-of-way line of Alexander Drive, 1,350 feet, more or less, north of the northeast corner of the intersection of Washington Road and Alexander Drive; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IA (One-family Resid~nce) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the southeast right-of- way line of Alexander Drive, 1,350 feet, more or less, north of the northeast corner of the intersection of Washington Road and Alexander Drive; thence, in a northerly direction along the southeast right~of-way line of Alexander Drive a distance of 100.93 feet to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 347.2 feet to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 100.0 feet to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 362.0 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains . 81 acres and is known under the present numbering system' as 1060 Alexander Drive. '~ ,- ~ , -, ') SECTION II. That this amendment to the Comprehensive zoning Map is subject to the following stipulation: That the use of ihis property shall be limited to an antique shop or those uses allowed in a P-1 (Professional) Zone; and the signage for the antique shop shall conform to section 25-B of the Zoning Ordinance. SECTION III.
