An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments
which have been approved by either the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County or the city Council of
Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of
the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-2 (General Business)
to Zone A (Agriculture) affecting property located on the
west right-of-way line of Peach Orchard Road, 1035 feet,
more or less, south of the' southwest corner of the
intersection of Plantation Road and Peach Orchard Road;
and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and
for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond county on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-2 (General
Business) to Zone A (Agriculture) affecting property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the west right-of-way
line of Peach Orchard Road, 1035 feet, more or less,
south of the southwest corner of the intersection of
Plantation Road and Peach Orchard Road; thence, in a
southerly direction along the west right~of-way line of
Peach Orchard Road a distance of 315.37 feet to a point;
thence, N58052'50" W a distance of 414.59 feet to a
point; thence, N 29039'10"E a distance of 100.00 feet to
a point; thence, N 55039'49" E a distance of 272.94 feet
to a point; thence, S 53020'13" E a distance of 78.57
feet to a point; thence, S 28035'43" W a distance of
25.33 feet to a point; thence, S 48018'49" E a distance
of 119.47 feet to a point; thence, S 73015'22" E a
distance of 83.19 feet to the point of beginning. This
property contains approximately 2.67 acres.

SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
