An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensive zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments
which have been approved by either the Board of
commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of
Augusta as authorized under 'the Home Rule provisions of
the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to
Zone R-1B (One-family Residence) affecting property
located on the northwest right-of-way line of Old
Waynesboro Road, 1,315 feet, more or less, north of the
northwest corner of the intersection of McDade Farm Road
and Old Waynesboro Road; and :for the repeal of ordinances
in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture)
to Zone R-1B (One-family Residence) affecting property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the northwest right-of-
way line of Old Waynesboro Road, 1,315 feet, more or
less, north of the northwest corner of the intersection
of McDade Farm Road and Old Waynesboro Road; thence, N
35012'47" W a distance of 382.48 feet to a point; thence,
N 13005'47" W a distance of 471.00 feet to a point;
thence, N 55004'42" W a distance of 339.91 feet to a
point; thence, N 18026'28" W a distance of 379.00 feet to
a point; thence, N 73046'28" W a distance of 177.00 feet
to a point; thence, S 66033'47" W a distance of 123.74
feet to a point; thence, S 05041'08" E a distance of
351.22 feet to a point; thence, S 42023'41" W a distance
of 308.07 feet to a point; thence, S 87003'05" W a
distance of 118.32 feet to a point; thence, N 15005'04"
W a distance of 379.63 feet to a point; thence, N
51046'52" W a distance of 417.11 feet to a point; thence,
S 52042'34" W a distance of 491.25 feet to a point
located on the centerline of Spirit Creek; thence, in a
northwesterly direction along the centerline of Spirit
Creek a distance of 1,229 feet, more or less, to a point;
thence, N 81027'27" E a distance of 1,199.91 feet to a
point; thence, S 61055'52" E a distance of 1,899:83 feet

to a point; thence, S 29006'08" W a distance of 237.51
feet to a point; thence, S 29003'36" W a distance of
209.95 feet to a point; thence, S 60056'33" E a distance
of 556.88 feet to a point located on the northwest right-
of-way line of Old Waynesboro Road; thence, S 28053'34"
W along the northwest right-of-way line of Old Waynesboro
Road a distance of 628.06 feet to the point of beginning.
This property contains approximately 47 acres.
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
