An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments
which have been approved by either the Board of
commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of
Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of
the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive ,Zoning Map from Zone P-l (Professional) to
"
Zone B-T (Neighborhood Business) affecting property
located on the northwest corner of the intersection of
Davis Road and Scott Nixon Memorial Drive; and for the
repeal of ordinances in con~lict herewith and for other
purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended

by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone P-l
(Professional) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting
property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the northwest corner of
the intersection of Davis Road and Scott Nixon Memorial
Drive; thence, S 65058'02" W along the northwest right-
of-way line of Scott Nixon Memorial Drive a distance of
260.37 feet to a point; thence, N 23057'25" W a distance
of 342.41 feet to a point; thence, N 66001'21" E a
distance of 57.16 feet to a point; thence, S 23056'34" E
a distance of 83.87 feet to a point; thence, N 66003'26"
E a distance of 195.71 feet to a point located on the
southwest right-of-way line of Davis Road; thence, in a
southerly direction along the southwest right-of-way line
of Davis Road a distance of 264.51 feet to the point of
beginning. This property contains 1.68 acres and is
known under the present numbering system as 601 Scott
Nixon Memorial Drive.

SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
