An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
and the Ci~y Council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensive zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
city Council of Augusta, together with all amendments
which have been approved by either the Board of
commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of
Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of
the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the

Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IC (One-family
Residence) to Zone R-3C (Multiple-family Residence)
affecting property located on the southwest right-of-way

line of Magnolia Avenue, 250.0 feet northwest of the
southwest corner of the intersection of Oak street and
Magnolia Avenue; and for the repeal of ordinances in
conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the' 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IC (One-family
Residence) to Zone R-3C (Multiple-family Residence) affecting
property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the southwest right-of-
way line of Magnolia Avenue, 250.0 feet northwest of the
southwest corner of the intersection of Oak street and
Magnolia Avenue; thence, in a southwesterly direction a
distance of 150.0 feet to a point located on the
northeast right-of-way line of an unnamed Alley; thence,
in a northwesterly direction along the northeast right-
of-way line of an unnamed Alley a distance of 100.0 feet
to a point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a
distance of 150.0 feet to a point located on the
southwest right-of-way line of Magnolia Avenue; thence,
in a southeasterly direction along the southwest right-
of-way line of Magnolia Avenue a distance of 100.0 feet
to the point of beginning. This property contains .34
acres and is known under the present numbering system as
236 Magnolia Avenue.

SECTION II.

All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
