HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 5954 LUMPKIN RD Augusta Richmond GA DOCUMENT NAME: 0- \C\<1l- 5QSL\ DOCUMENT TYPE: ()~C)\"ClD~~ YEAR: ~I BOX NUMBER: \) 3 FILE NUMBER: \~d3G1 NUMBER OF PAGES: Q) .t, ~ -; ORDINANCE NO.v5Y~Jf An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County r and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-3B (Multiple-family Residence) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the southwest right-of-way line of Lumpkin Road, 271 feet, more or less, southeast of a point where the southeast right-of-way line of Deans Bridge Road intersects with the southwest right-of-way line of Lumpkin Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-3B (Multiple- family Residence) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the southwest right-of- way line of Lumpkin Road, 271 feet, more or less, southeast of a point where the southeast right-of-way line of Deans Bridge Road intersects with the southwest right-of-way line of Lumpkin Road; thence, S 55015'11" E, along the southwest right-of-line of Lumpkin Road a distance of 100.0 feet to a point; thence, S 30033'27" W a distance of 275.02 feet to a point; thence, N 39012'10" W a distance of 100.50 feet to a point; thence, N 29018' 00" E a distance of 247.62 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains .60 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 2570 Lumpkin Road. .. " J SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
