An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments
which have been approved by either the Board of
commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of
Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of
the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map by removing a stipulation placed
on the earlier rezoning to a B-2 (General Business) Zone
in 1986 (Z-86-221) affecting property located on the
northeast corner of the intersection of Peach Orchard
Road (U.S. Hwy. 25) and Gracewood Cemetery Road; and for
the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for
other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map by removing a stipulation
placed on the earlier rezoning to a B-2 (General Business) Zone in
1986 (Z-86-221) affecting property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the northea~t corner of
the intersection of Peach Orchard Road (U.S. Hwy. 25) and
Gracewood Cemetery Road; thence, N 33059'25" E along the
southeast right-of-way line of Peach Orchard Road a
distance of 934.14 feet to a point; thence, S 83054'17"
E a distance of 150.01 feet to a point; thence, N
34000'58" E a distance of 49.94 feet to a point; thence,
S 83054'21" E a distance of 578.06 feet to a point;
thence, S 07035'22" W a distance of 610.10 feet to a
point; thence, N 56016'20" W a distance of 249.95 feet to
a point; thence, S 11022'27" W a distance of 384.13 feet
to a point located on the north right-of-way line of
Gracewood Cemetery Road; thence, N 83029'04" W along the
north right-of-way line of Gracewood Cemetery Road a
distance of 915.83 feet to the point of beginning. This
property contains 17.08 acres and is known under the
present numbering system as 3640 Peach Orchard Road.

SECTION II. That this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map is
subject to the following stipulation:
That the driveway improvement of Gracewood Cemetery Road be
approved by the Traffic Engineer.
SECTION III.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
