HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 5941 COMP ZONING SUB DIV REG Augusta Richmond GA DOCUMENT NAME: 0-- \Cf1l- '5Q L\ l DOcUMENTTYPE:()\(\\\X}\{\~~ YEAR: C\t BOX NUMBER: 03 FILE NUMBER: ~ NUMBER OF PAGES: l;/' ,- , -, -, " ORDINANCE No.fi'f/ An Ordinance to amend the comprehensive zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of commissioners of Richmond County and the city council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the comprehensive zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the city Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of commissioners of Richmond County or the city council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of the constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the northeast right-of-way line of Belair Road, 685 feet, more or less, south of the southeast corner of the intersection of Powell Road and Belair Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond county on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the northeast right-of- way line of Belair Road, 685 feet, more or less, south of the southeast corner of the intersection of powell Road and Belair Road; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 145 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 120 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 230 feet, more or less, to a point located on the northeast right-of-way line of Belair Road; thence, in a northerly direction along the northeast right-of-way line of Belair Road a distance of 100.0 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately .43 acres and is a portion of 4005 Belair Road. ~c -; " SECTION II.
