An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
and the city Council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensive zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
city Council of Augusta, together with all amendments
which have been approved by either the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of
Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of
the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive zoning Map from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood
Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting
property located on the southeast corner of the
intersection of Denmark Drive and Peach Orchard Road; and
for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for
other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the comprehensive zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of, Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-1
(Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting
property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the southeast corner of
the intersection of'Denmark Drive and Peach Orchard Road;
thence, N 76006'25" E along the south right-of-way line
of Denmark Drive a distance of 139.97 feet to a pcint;
thence, S 12019'37" E a distance of 54.99 feet to a
point; thence, S 34045'11" E a distance of 90.07 feet to
a point; thence, S 04003'32" W a distance of 64.16 feet
to a point; thence, S 76007'49" W a distance of 1'52.14
feet to a point located on the east right-of-way line of
Peach Orchard Road; thence, N 13030'00" W along the' east
right-of-way line of Peach Orchard Road a distance of
200.11 feet to the point of beginning. This property
contains .70 acres and is known under the present
numbering system as 3324 Peach Orchard Road.

SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
