An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
and the city Council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entitled "An Ordinance tp Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensive zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
the Board of commissioners of Richmond County and the
city council of Augusta, together with all amendments
which have been approved by either the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County or the city Council of
Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of
the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone P-1 (Professional) and
Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone' B-2 (General
Business) affecting property located on the southwest
corner of the intersection of 13th street and. Walton Way;
and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and
for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond Coun'ty on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone P-1
(Professional) and Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2
(General Business) affecting property as follows~
Beginning at a point located on the southwest corner of
the intersection of 13th street and Walton Way; thence,
in a southwesterly direction along the northwest right-
of-way line of 13th Street (R. A. Dent Boulevard) a
distance of 629 feet, more or less, to a point located
where the northeast right-of-way line of D'Antignac
street intersect,s with the northwest right-of-way line of
R. A. Dent Boulevard; thence, in a southwesterly
direction along the northwest right-of-way line of R. A.
Dent Boulevard a distance of 185 feet, more or less, to
a point located where the southwest right-of~way line of
Df Antignac Street intersects with the northwest right-of-
way line of R. A. Dent Boulevard; thence, in a
southwesterly direction along the northwest right-of-way
line of R. A. Dent Boulevard a distance of 504 feet, more
or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction
a distance of 815 feet, more or less, to a point located
on the southeast right-of-way line of st. Sebastian Way.
thence, in a northerly direct~ion along the southeast
right-of-way line of st. Sebastian Way a distance of
1,232 feet, more or less, to a point located on the
southeast corner of the intersection of Walton Way and

st. Sebastian Way; th~nce, in an easterly direction along
the south right-of-way line of Walton Way a distance of
241.26 feet to a point; thence, in a southwesterly
direction a distance of 378.01 feet to a point; thence,
in a westerly direction a distance of 4.81 feet to a
point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of
71.72 'feet to a point; thence, in an easterly direction
a distance of 46.23 feet to a point; thence in a
southeasterly direction a distance of 24.80 feet to a
point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of
135.45 feet to a point; thence, in a northerly direction
a distance of 174.58 feet to a point; thence, in a
westerly direction a distance of 14.0 feet to a point;
thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 143.96
feet to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a
distance of 49.98 feet to a point; thence, in a northerly
direction a distance of 83.46 feet to a point located on
the south right-of-way line of Walton Way; thence, in an
easterly direction along the south right-of-way line of
Walton Way a distance of 151.86 feet to a point located
on the southwest corner of the intersection of 0' Antignac
street and Walton Way; thence, in an easterly direction
along the south right-of-way line of Walton Way a
distance of 70 feet, more or less, to a point located on
the southeast corner of the intersection of D'Antignac
Street and Walton Way; thence, in an easterly direction
along the south right-of-way line of Walton Way a
distance of 767 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning.
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
