I ./7- ", ~ ORDINANCE No.5"9;> t/ An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of commissioners of Richmond county and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of commissioners of Richmond County or the city Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone LI (Light Industry) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the southwest right-of-way line of Wheeler Road, 680 feet, more or less, northwest of a point where the' centerline of Interstate Parkway extended intersects the southwest right-of-way line of Wheeler Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone LI (Light Industry) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the southwest right-of- way line of Wheeler Road, 680 feet, more or less, northwest of a point where the centerline of Interstate Parkway extended intersects the southwest right-of-way line of Wheeler Road; thence, S 28040'52" Wa distance of 55.11 feet to a point; thence, S 61019'08" E a distance of 52.33 feet to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a distance of 462.74 feet to a point; thence, N 32042'47" E a distance of 371. 91 feet to a point; thence, N 32042'47" E a distance of 27.85 feet to a point located on the southwest right-of-way line of Wheeler Road; thence, S 61019'08" E along the southwest right-of- way line of Wheeler Road a distance of 229.42 feet to the point of beginning. -This property contains 1.41 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 3770 Wheeler Road. t I", " r ~ I ~ .. r -- - . ....
