ORDINANCE NO. _1(9,J / An QF.ainane~ te amin~ the Q9m~~~"engivQ ~gn1ng O~~ift~~g. adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the city Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1A. (One-family Residence) to Zone P-1 (Professional) affecting property located 500 feet, more or less, south of the south right- of-way line of Lumpkin Road and also being 174 feet, more or less, east of the southeast corner of the intersection of Hamilton Drive and Lumpkin Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1A (One-family' Residence) to Zone P-1 (Professional) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located 500 feet, more or less, south of the south right-of-way line of Lumpkin Road and also being 174 feet, more or less, east of the southeast corner of the intersection of Hamilton Drive and Lumpkin Road; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 207 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 120 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 63 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 341 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 170 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 490 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 2 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 2514 Lumpkin Road. .f I ~ ~ .! " ". ... . . ~ .. SECTION II. That this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map is subject to the following stipulation: That a site plan be approved by the Planning commission prior to the issuance of a certificate of Occupancy to convert an existing structure to a professional use. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this /9 # In.?"
