HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 5919 4 H CLUB MIKE PADGET HIGHWAY Augusta Richmond GA DOCUMENT NAME: 0 - \C\S"l - 50' Li DOCUMENT TYPE: 0'( d \ '()(}.(l ce YEAR: L\i BOX NUMBER: D~ FILE NUMBER: \C{)C\~ NUMBER OF PAGES: c0 r c "i' t. \- \ ORDINANCE NO. .5 't J j An Ordinance to amend the comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond county and the city council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readop~,-a'nd Reconfirm the .--' Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board,of Commissioners of Richmond County and the city council of _Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of commissioners of Richmond County or the City council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by Changing the comprehensive zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone LI (Light Industry) affecting property located 310 feet, more or less, southwest of the southwest right-of- way line of Mike Padgett Highway, and also being 1,246 feet, more or less, southeast of the southwest corner of the intersection of 4-H Club Road and Mike Padgett Highway; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map fr9m Zone A (Agriculture) to Zone LI (Light Industry) affecting property as follows: Beginning _at a point located 310 feet, more or less, southwest ',.of the southwest right-of-way line of Mike Padgett Highway, and also being 1,246 feet, more or less, southeast of the southwest corner of the intersection of 4-H Club Road and Mike Padgett Highway; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 250 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 250 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 252 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 250 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains 1.43 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 3839 Mike Padgett Highway. -1 ,I / , i. , i , / j' -.: ,- -; SECTION II. That this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map is subject to the following stipulation: That the rear yard buffer requirements of the Auqusta- Richmond County Tree Ordinance be applied to the southern side of the subject tract. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
