An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
and the city Council of Augusta etfective November 15,
1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments
which have been approved by either the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County or the city Council of
Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of
the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1A (One-family
Residence) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting
property located on the north right-of-way line of
Harding Road, 525 feet, more or less, west of the
northwest corner of the intersection of Peach Orchard
Road and Harding Road; and for the repeal of ordinances
in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1A (One-family
Residence) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as
follows:
Beginning at a point located on the north right-of-way
line of Harding Road, 525 feet, more or less, west of the
northwest corner of the intersection of Peach Orchard
Road and Harding Road; thence, in a westerly direction
along the north right-of-way line of Harding Road a
distance of 100.0 feet to a point; thence,' in a northerly
direction a distance of 200.0 feet to a point; thence, in
an easterly direction a distance of 100.0 feet to a
point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of
200. 0 feet to the point of beg inning. This property
contains .46 acres and is known under the present
numbering system as '2117 Harding Road.

SECTION II. That this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map is
subject to the following stipulation:
That the only business on this property shall be a
lawnmower repair operation; and that at such time as this
use shall cease, the zoning of the property shall revert
to R-1A (One-family Residence).
SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
