HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 5900 BARTON CHAPEL Augusta Richmond GA DOCUMENT NAME: 0 - \q~ 1- 5L1CO DOCUMENT TYPE: D'(O\'f'O.n~ YEAR: Yl BOX NUMBER: D~ FILE NUMBER: \ ~ \L\ NUMBER OF PAGES: OJ ORDINANCE NO.k~J)t:J An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the city Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the north right-of-way line of Milledgeville Road, 423 feet, more or less, west of the northwest corner of the intersection of Barton Chapel Road and Milledgeville Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the north right-of-way line of Milledgeville Road, 423 feet, more or less, west of the northwest corner of the intersection of Barton Chapel Road and Milledgeville Road; thence, in a northwesterly direction along the north right-of-way line of Milledgeville Road a distance of 200.81 feet to a point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of 257.23 feet to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 253.29 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains .56 acres. r - SECTION II. That this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map is subject to the following condition: That the use of this property shall be limited to the sale of manufactured homes or those uses allowed in a B-1 (Neighborhood Business) Zone.
