FILE NUMBER: I ). q 0 q NUMBER OF PAGES: :2 ORDINANCE NO. t:;"$?9() An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized una~r ~t~ Home Rule provisions of the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the n,~~hwest right-of-way line of Claussen Road, 1,018 feet, more or less, northeast of the northeast corner of the intersection of stevens Creek Road and Claussen Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the northwest right-of- way line of Claussen Road, 1,018 feet, more or less, northeast of the northeast corner of the intersection of stevens Creek Road and Claussen Road; thence, N 47048'00" W a distance of 202.08 feet to a point; thence, N 64019'40" W a distance of 65.37 feet to a point; thence, N 64019'40" W a distance of 170.79 feet to a point; thence, N 26003'45" E a distance of 1009.33 feet to a point; thence, S 47048'00" E a distance of 444.45 feet to a point; thence, S 42012'40" W a distance of 920.97 feet to a point; thence, S 64019'40" E a distance of 65.37 feet to a point; thence, S 47048'00" E a distance of 202.08 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains 6.67 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 1052 & 1054 Claussen Road. SECTION II. That this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map is subject to the following stipulation: That no alcoholic beverage business license be allowed for occupants of this property. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this 1-7 z;t day of {).Pf,~ , 1996.
