An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
and the city council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments
which have been approved by either the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of
Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of
the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to
Zone R-Mlf- (Mobile Home Residential) and plan approval for
the expansion of Plantation Acres Mobile Home Park per
section 27-2 affecting property located on a Bearing N
64039'04" Wand being 1043 feet, more or less, west of
the northwest right-of-way line of Thorhill Drive, and
also being, 300 feet, more or less, southwest of the
northwest corner of the northern intersection of Karleen
Road and Thornhill Drive; and for the repeal of
ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture)
to Zone R-MH (Mobile Home Residential) and plan approval for the
expansion of Plantation Acres Mobile Home Park per Section 27-2
affecting property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on a Bearing N 64039'04" W
and being 1043 feet, more or less, west of the northwest
right-of-way line of Thorhill Drive, and also being, 300
feet, more or less, southwest of the northwest corner of
the northern intersection of Karleen Road and Thornhill
Drive; thence, S 30011'42" W a distance of 785 feet, more
or less, to a point; thence, N 61037'32" W a distance of
273.09 feet to a point; thence, N 30011'42" E a distance
of 783.67 feet to a point; thence, S 63025'00" E a
distance of 275 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning. This property contains 4.9 acres.

SECTION II. That this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map is
subject to the following stipulation:
That no access to this property be allowed to Thornhill Drive.
SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
