"\ ORDINANCE NO. j 174 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map. from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the northeast corner of the intersection of Peach Orchard Road and Melrose Drive; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION-COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the northeast corner of the intersection of Peach Orchard Road and Melrose Drive; thence, in a northerly direction along the northeast right-of-way of Peach Orchard Road a distance of 99 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, N 79023'00" E a distance of 191.55 feet to a point; thence, S 12041'14" E a distance of 99.53 feet to a point located on the north right-of-way line of Melrose Drive; thence, S 77028'32" W along the north right-of-way line of Melrose Drive a distance of 196.48 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains. 43 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 3326 Peach Orchard Road. --! -~' ~" "' '\ .. SECTION II.
