An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
City council of Augusta, together with all amendments
which have been approved by either the Board of
commissioners of Richmond County or the city Council of
Augusta as authorized under the Horne Rule provisions of
the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive zoning Map from Zone R-1C (One-family
Residence) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting
property located on the southwest right-of-way line of
Fenwick street, 80 feet, more or less, east of the
southeast corner of the intersection of Britts Lane and
Fenwick street; and for the repeal of ordidances in
conflict herewith and for other purposes:

THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION-COUNCIL HER~BY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1C (One-family
Residence) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property
as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the southwest right-of-
way line of Fenwick Street, 80 feet, more or less, east
of the southeast corner of the intersection of Britts
Lane and Fenwick street; thence, in an easterly direction
along the southwest right-of-way line of Fenwick street
a distance of 40.0 feet to a point; thence, in a
southerly direction a distance of 90.0 feet to a point;
thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 40.0 feet
to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance
of 70.~.~eet to a point located on the northeast right-
of-way line of Blairs Lane; thence, in a westerly
direction along the northeast right-of-way line of Blairs
Lane a distance of 80.0 feet to a point; thence, in a
northerly direction a distance of 160.0 feet to the point
of beginning. This property contains .21 acres and is
known under the present numbering system as 1736 Fenwick
Street.

SECTION II. That this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map is
subject to the following stipulation:
That the only business on this property shall be a
florist; and that at such time as this use shall cease,
the zoning of the property shall revert to Zone R-1C
(One-family Residence).
SECTION III.
All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
