FILE NUMBER: / :J LoC/Co ;2 NUMBER OF PAGES: , '\- ~ \~ 7--t:1lo-100 ., ORDINANCE NO. 5859 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the city Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IA (One-family Residence) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the northeast corner of the intersection of Milledgeville Road and Polo Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION-COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of. Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-IA (One-family Residence) to Zone B-2 (General Business) a~fecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the northeast corner of the intersection of Milledgeville Road and Polo Road; thence, in a northerly direction along the east right-of- way line of Polo Road a distance of 250 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 150.7 feet to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 225.9 feet to a point located on the north right-of-way line of Milledgeville Road; thence, in a westerly direction along the north right-of- way line of Milledgeville Road a distance of 166.0 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains .80 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 2609 and 2613 Milledgeville Road. '+~~ SECTION II, All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this /10 ~ day of 911 f ~t , 1996.
