DOCUMENT TYPE: Drd;(\M(\Ce...- YEAR: J q0& BOX NUMBER: I FILE NUMBER: J 9-lo cfLf NUMBER OF PAGES: 2. -z, -~ lc - ~q ~ ~ ~l ,.__c-:; ~ ( ';' ORDINANCE NO. 5857 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the city Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of commissioners of Richmond County or the city Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone P-1 (Professional) and Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property located on the northwest right-of-way line of 15th street, 86.0 feet north of the northwest corner of the intersection of Laney-Walker Boulevard and 15th street; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION-COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone P-1 (Professional) and Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the northwest right-of- way line of 15th Street, 86.0 feet north of the northwest corner of the intersection of Laney-Walker Boulevard and 15th Street; thence, in a westerly direction a distance of 200 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, ,in a southerly direction a distance of 85.1 feet to a point located on the northeast right-of-way line of Laney- Walker Boulevard; thence, in a westerly direction along the northeast right-of-way line of Laney-Walker Boulevard a distance of 70 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 163 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in an easterly direction a distance of 220 feet, more or less, to a point located on - . -~,.., .. . the northwest right-of-way line of 15th street; thence, in a southerly direction along the northwest right-of-way line of 15th street a distance of 77 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately .61 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 1109 15th street and 1513 Laney- Walker Boulevard. SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict withe this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
