HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 5856 MILLEDGEVLLE ROAD DOCUMENT NAME: DOCUMENT TYPE: YEAR: / g q(p BOX NUMBER: FILE NUMBER: NUMBER OF PAGES: Augusta Richmond GA 0/ I qlffo ~sr90 Or d /'/1J.t /1 ce..- / )rJLPLt3 :J- z. - Cfc.c- ~ '; -, ,,\ .. ~ l' ., j~ ORDINANCE NO. 5856 An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the €omprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been. approved by either the Board of commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1A (One-family Residence) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property .located on the north right-of-way line of Milledgeville Road, 336.5 feet west of the northwest corner of the intersection of Mel ton Road and Milledgeville Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION-COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended .by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1A (One-family Residence) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the north right-of-way line of Milledgeville Road, 336.5 feet west of the northwest corner of the intersection of Melton Road and Milledgeville Ro~d; thence, in a westerly direction along the north right-of-way line of Milledgeville Road a distance of 100.0 feet to _a point; thence, in a northerly direction a distance of 180 feet, more or less, to a point~ thence, in an easterly direction a.distance 6f 100.0 feet to a point; thence, in a southeriy direction a distance of 180 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property contains .41 acres and is known - under the present numbering system as 2731 Milledgeville Road. ; i" .. ~ >; " , SECTION II.
