AN ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH USER FEES FOR USE OF
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY LANDFILL; TO
PROVIDE AN EFFECTIVE DATE; TO REPEAL.
CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION-
COUNCIL AND IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED BY THE AUTHORITY OF SAME AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1, The Richmond County Code, Part I 1,- Chapter
10, is hereby amended by adding a new section 10-5, 'Sections 10-6
through 10-30 continue to be reserved~ The new section 10-5 shall
read as follows:
Sec, 10-5, FEES FOR USE OF AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY SOLID
WASTE LANDFILL,
(a) Fees, The fol~owing fees shall be charged for
use of the Augusta-Richmond County solid waste landfill:
Industrial, commercial and
residential solid waste $30,00 per ton
Inert waste (yard and forest
commercial truck) 15,00 per ton
Mixed waste (inert,
putrescible, industrial)
30,00 per ton

Demolition waste
30,00 per ton
Residential auto or truck
(three (3) bags or less)
No charge
Residential auto or truck I
(four (4) - six (6) bags)
2,00 per load

Administrator is hereby authorized to waive any
The Augusta-Richmond County
applicable fee in subsection (a), above, for-inert
material in the form of natural debris (including sticks,
branches, leaves, etc,), where st.orms create an excessive
amount of such material in residential areas,
Section 2 .
This ordinance shall become effective upon
adoption.
Section 3, All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with this ordinance are hereby repealed,
