An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of commissioners of Richmond County
and the city council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983; entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensive zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
city Council of Augusta, together with all amendments
which have been approved by either the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond county or the City Council of
Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of
the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1C (One-family
Residence) to Zone R-3C (Multiple-family Residence)
affecting property located on the southeast corner of the
intersection of Cedar street and Magnolia Avenue; and for
the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for
other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond' County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1C (One-family
Residence) to Zone R-3C (Multiple-family Residence) affecting
property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the southeast corner of
the intersection of Cedar Street. and Magnolia Avenue.
thence, in a southeasterly direction along the southwest
right-of-way line of Magnolia Avenue a distance of 74.5
f7et to a point; thence, in a southwesterly direction a
d~stance of 150.0 feet to a point located on the
northeast right-of-way line of an unnamed Lane. thence
in a nor~hwesterly direction along the northea~t right:
of-way l~ne of an unnamed Lane a distance of 30 feet
more or ~ess, to a point located on the southeastright~
o~-way.l~ne of Cedar Street; thence, in a northeasterly
d~rect~on along the southeast right-of-way line of Cedar
Str7et, a dis~ance of 155.75 feet to the point of
beg~nn~ng. Th~s property contains .19 acres and is known
under the present numbering system as 200 Magnolia
Avenue.

SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance ar~ hereby repealed.
