An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehens i ve Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments
which have been' approved by either the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of
Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of
the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood
Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting
property located on the northeast corner of the
intersection of Washington Road and Beverly Heights
Drive; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict
herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption .of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-1
(Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting
property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the northeast corner of
the intersection of Washington Road and Beverly Heights
Drive; thence, in a northerly direction along the east
right-of-way line of Beverly Heights Drive a distance of
288.0 feet to a point; thence, in an easterly direction
a distance of 185.0 feet to a point; thence in a
southerly direction a distance of 288.0 feet to ~ point
located on the north right-of-way line of Washington
Road; thence, in a westerly direction along the north
right-of-way line of Washington Road a distance of 185.0
feet to the poin~ of beginning. This property contains
1.22 acres and 1S known under the present numbering
system as 3125 Washington Road.

SECTION II.. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
