An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
and the City council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
city Council of Augusta, together with all amendments
which have been approved by either the Board of
commissioners of Richmond County or the city council of ,
Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of
the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1B (One-family
Residence), Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) and Zone B-2
(General Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business)
affecting property located on the southeast right-of-way
line of Wrightsboro Road, 63 feet, more or less, east of
the southeast corner of the intersection of Cresent Dr i ve
and Wrightsboro Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in
conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1B (One-family
Residence), Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) and Zone B-2 (General
Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as
follows:
Beginning at a point located on the southeast right-of-
way line of Wrightsboro Road, 63 feet, more or less, east
of the southeast corner of the intersection of Cresent
Drive and Wrightsboro Road; thence, in an easterly
direction along the southeast right-of-way line of
Wrightsboro Road a distance of 412.25 feet to a point;
thence, S 16049'50" E a distance of 294.15 feet to a
point; thence, S 23042'40" W a distance of 35.90 feet to
a point; thence, S 42056'28" W a distance of 358.48 feet
to a point; thence, N 17005'43" W a distance of 216.23
feet to a point; thence, S 72030' 08" W a distance of
150.42 feet to a point located on the northeastright-of-
way line of Cresent Drive; thence, N 17005'43" W along
the northeast right-of-way. line of Cresent Drive a
distance of 50.00 feet to a'point; thence, N 72037'31" E
a distance of 149.99 feet to a point; thence, N 17035'05"

beginning. This property contains 3.42 acres.
SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
