An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted
by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council
of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to
Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted
March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
and the City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which
have been approved by either the Board of Commissioners of Richmond
County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home
Rule Provisions of the Constitution of the State of Georgia" by changing
the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business)
to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the north
right-of-way line of Washington Road, 470 feet, more or less, east of the
northeast corner of the intersection of Pleasant Home Road and
Washington Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith
and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION-COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That,the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption
of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map
from Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting
property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the north right-of-way line of Washington
Road, 470 feet, more or less, east of the northeast corner of the
intersection of Pleasant Home Road and Washington Road; thence, in a
northerly direction a distance of 159.15 feet to a point; thence, in an
easterly, direction a distance of 102.9 feet to a point; thence, in a
southerly direction a distance of 165.0 feet to a point located on the
north right-of-way line of Washington Road; thence, in a westerly
. direction along the north right-of-way line of Washington Road a distance
of. 105 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. This property
contains .39 acres and is known under the present numbering system as
3313 Washington Road.

SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are
hereby repealed.
