An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
and the city Council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
City council of Augusta, together with all amendments
which have been approved by either the Board of
commissioners of Richmond County or the city Council of
Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of
the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-3B (Multiple-family
Residential) and Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone
B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on the
northeast right-of-way line of Crescent Drive, 326 feet,
more or less, south of the southeast corner of the
intersection of Wrightsboro Road and Crescent Drive; and
for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for
other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION-COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-3B (Multiple-
family Residential) and 'Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) to Zone B-
2 (General Business) affecting property as follows:
Beginning at a point located on the northeast right-of-
way line of Crescent Drive, 326 feet, more or less, south
of the southeast corner of the intersection of
Wrightsboro Road and. Crescent Drive; thence, in an
easterly direction a distance of 150.0 feet to a point;
thence, in a southerly direction a distance of 106 feet,
more or less, to a point; thence, in a southwesterly
direction a distance of 177 feet, more or less, to a
point located on the northeast right-of-way line of
Crescent Drive; thence, in a northerly direction along
the northeast right-of-way line of Crescent Drive a
distance of 198 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning. This property contains. 63 acres and is known
under the present numbering system as 1514 Crescent
Drive.

SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
