HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 5818 SKINNER MILL RD Augusta Richmond GA DOCUMENT NAME: O~ /996 " !:S!t DOCUMENT TYPE: ()rr! i (\M c-e YEAR: ;qq& BOX NUMBER: ) /;f51i FILE NUMBER: NUMBER OF PAGES: 9- J. y ....... <>po -- ORDINANCE NO.~ I An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the city Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the city Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of the Constitution of the state of Georgia II by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1 (One-family Residence) to Zone P-1 (Professional) affecting property located on the southeast right-of-way line of Skinner Mill Road Extension, 20 feet, more or less, northwest of a point where the northwest right-of-way line of Skinner Mill Road intersects the southeast right-of-way line of Skinner Mill Road Extension; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1 (One-family Residence) to Zone P-1 (Professional) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the southeast right-of- way line of Skinner Mill Road Extension, 20 feet, more or less, northwest of a point where the northwest right-of- way line of Skinner Mill Road intersects the southeast right-of-way line of Skinner Mill Road Extension; thence, S 46013'59" W a distance of 506 feet, more or less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a distance of 245 feet, more or less, to a point located on the southeast right-of-way line of Skinner Mill Road Extension; thence, in a northeasterly direction along the southeast right-of-way line of Skinner Mill Road Extension a distance of 570.63 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains approximately 1.8 acres. , , ~. SECTION II. That this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map is subject to the following stipulation: That a 3,750 square foot planted buffer be retained at the eastern end of the property where Skinner Mill Road and Skinner Mill Road Extension intersects. SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed. Done in Open Meeting under the Common Seal thereof this O?O~ day of (~ ' 1996.
