An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of commissioners of Richmond County
and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
City Council of Augusta, together with all amendments
which have been approved by either the Board of
commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of
Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of
the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1 (One-family
Residence) to Zone P-1 (Professional) affecting property
located on the northwest right-of-way line of Skinner
Mill Road Extension, 520 feet, more or less, northeast of
a point where the northeast right-of-way line of Walton
Way Extension intersects the northwest right-of-way line
of Skinner Mill Road Extension; and for the repeal of
ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1 (One-family
Residence) to Zone P-1 (Professional) affecting property as
follows:

Beginning at a point located on the northwest right-of-
way line of Skinner Mill Road Extension, 520 feet, more
or less, northeast of a point where the northeast right-
Of-way line of Walton Way Extension intersects the
northwest right-of-way line of Skinner Mill Road
Extension; thence, N 38020'59" W a distance of 749.34
feet to a point located on the southeast right-of-way
line of Interstate Highway 20; thence, N 63049'51" E
along the southeast right-of-way line of Interstate
Highway 20 a distance of 598.51 feet to a point; thence,
S 24032'43" E a distance of 845 feet, more or less, to a
point located on the northwest right-of-way line of
Skinner Mill Road Extension; thence; in a westerly
direction along the northwest right-of-way line of
Skinner Mill Road Extension a distance of 429 feet, more
or less, to the point of beginning. This property
contains 8.9 acres.

SECTION II. That this amendment to the Comprehensive Zoning Map is
subject to the following stipulation:
That a 50 foot natural buffer be retained along the east
property line.
SECTION III. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
