An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
and the city council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entitled II An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconf irm the
Comprehensi ve Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
city council of Augusta, together with all amendments
which have been approved by either the Board of
Commissioners of Richmond County or the City Council of
Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of
the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive zoning Map from Zone R-1 (One-family
Residence) to Zone R-1C (One-family Residence) affecting
property located on a Bearing N 50055'00" Wand being 320
feet, more or less, northwest of the northwest right-of-
way line of Goshen Road, and also being 1,247 feet, more
or less, west of a point where the centerline of spirit
Creek intersects the northwest right-of-way line of
Goshen Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict
herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION-COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1 (One-family
Residence) to Zone R-IC (One-family Residence) affecting property
as follows:
Beginning at a point located on a Bearing N 50055'00" W
and being ~20 feet, more or less, northwest of the
nOJ;thwest r1.ght-of-way line of Goshen Road, and also
belng 1,247 feet, more or less, west of a point where the
centerline of Spirit Creek intersects the northwest
rig~t-of-way line of Goshen Road; thence, N 50055'00" W
a dlst~nce of 667.81 feet to a point; thence, N 23036'32"
E a dlstance of 111.28 feet to a point. thence N
66023'28" W a distance of 50.00 feet to a point. the~ce
N ~3036'32" E a distance of 354 feet, more or l~ss, to ~
pOlnt located on the centerline of Spirit Creek' thence
in an easterly direction along the centerline ~f Spirit
Creek a distance of 1,170 feet more or less to the
point of beginning. This propert~ contains appr~ximately
9 acres.

SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
