FILE NUMBER: I;) S {y 3 NUMBER OF PAGES: ;f- ;2.~ - {i.;:.~;.:?- ,,0 , ,. w , ., '7 1 '@ ORDINANCE " NO. s..1! ~ An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the City Council of Augusta effective November 15, 1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the city Council of Augusta, together with all amendments which have been approved by either the Board of commissioners of Richmond County or the city council of Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule Provisions of the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone P-1 (Professional) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property located on the northwest corner of the intersection of Fifteenth street and Pope Avenue; and for the repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other purposes: THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION-COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended by ,changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone P-l (Professional) to Zone B-1 (Neighborhood Business) affecting property as follows: Beginning at a point located on the northwest corner of the intersection of Fifteenth Street and Pope Avenue; thence, in a northwesterly direction along the northeast right-of-way line of Pope Avenue a distance of 93.35 feet to a point; thence, in a northeasterly direction a distance of 62.0 feet to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction a distance of 92.2 feet to a point located on the northwest right-of-way line of Fifteenth Street; thence, in a southwesterly direction along the northwest right-of-way line of Fifteenth street a distance of 56.0 feet to the point of beginning. This property contains .12 acres and is known under the present numbering system as 939 Fifteenth street. ~ . ~ SECTION II.
