An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
adopted by the Board of commissioners of Richmond County
and the city council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
Comprehens i ve zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
city council of Augusta, together with all amendments
which have been approved by either the Board of
commissioners of Richmond County or the city council of
Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of
the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture) to
Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property located on
the northwest right-of-way line of Deans Bridge Road, 60
feet, more or less, southwest of a point 'where the
centerline of Spirit Creek intersects the northwest
right-of-way line of Deans Bridge Road; and for the
repeal of ordinances in conflict herewith and for other
purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION-COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone A (Agriculture)
to Zone B-2 (General Business) affecting property as follows:
'Beginning at a point located on the northwest right-of-
way line of Deans Bridge Road, 60 feet, more or less,
southwest of a point where the centerline of Spirit Creek
intersects the northwest right-of-way line of Deans
Bridge Road; thence, in a southwesterly direction along
the northwest right-of-way line of Deans Bridge Road a
distance of 170 feet, more or less, to a point; thence,
in a westerly direction a distance of 200 feet, more or
less, to a point; thence, in a northwesterly direction a
distance of 146 feet, more or less, to a point; thence,
in a northeasterly direction a distance of 335 feet, more
or less, to a point; thence, in a southeasterly direction
a distance of 113 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning. This property contains 1.2 acres and is known
under the present numbering system as 4105 Deans Bridge
Road.

SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
