An Ordinance to amend the Comprehensive zoning'ordinance
adopted by the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County
and the city Council of Augusta effective November 15,
1983, entitled "An Ordinance to Readopt and Reconfirm the
comp~.ehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted March 25, 1963, by
the Board of Commissioners of Richmond County and the
city council of Augusta, together with all amendments
which have been approved by either the Board of
commissioners of Richmond County or the city Council of
Augusta as authorized under the Home Rule provisions of
the Constitution of the state of Georgia" by changing the
Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1A (One-family
Residence) to Zone P-l (Professional) affecting property
located on the southeast right-of-way line of Peach
Orchard Road, 257.0 feet south of a point where the
southwest right-of-way
line of
Satcher Boulevard
intersects with the southeast right-of-way line of Peach
Orchard Road; and for the repeal of ordinances in
conflict herewith and for other purposes:
THE AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY COMMISSION-COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners of Richmond County on the 15th day of
November, 1983, the caption of which is set out above, is amended
by changing the Comprehensive Zoning Map from Zone R-1A (One-family
Residence) to Zone P-1 (Professional) affecting property as
follows:
Beginning at a point located on the southeast right-of-
way line of Peach Orchard Road, 257.0 feet south of a
point where the southwest right-of-way line of Satcher
Boulevard intersects with the southeast right-of-way line
of Peach Orchard Road; thence, in an easterly direction
a distance of 246.6 feet to a point located on the
southwest right-of-way line of Satcher Boulevard; thence,
in a southeasterly direction along the southwest right-
of-way line of Satcher Boulevard a distance of 19.6 feet
to a point; thence, in a southerly direction a distance
of 85.7 feet to a point; thence, in a westerly direction
a distance of 260.0 feet to a point located on the
southeast right-of-way line of Peach Orchard Road;
thence, in a northerly direction along the southeast
right-of-way line of Peach Orchard Road a distance of
100.0 feet to the point of beginning. This property
contains .59 acres and is known under the present
numbering system as 3408 Peach Orchard Road.

SECTION II. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with
this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
