RELEASE
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That the undersigned, TERICA R. CHILDS, for the sole consideration of Two
ThousaJD.d Five Hundred Dollars and NoI100 ($2,500) to me in hand paid, receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged, has remised, released, and forever discharged, and for my heirs release and
forever discharge, CAROLINE SPENCER, individually and as an employee of Augusta, Georgia;
Augusta, Georgia; and the Augusta-Richmond County Commission, their successors and assigns,
heirs, executors, administrators, agents, and employees, and all other persons, firms, and
corporations;' of "and from any' and all claims, demands, rights, and causes of actions of
whatsoever kind arid nafure arising from, and by reason of any and all known and unknown,
foreseen and unforeseen bodily aJD.d personal injury including but not limited to medical expenses
and lost wages, resulting and to result from a certain incident which happened on the 28th day
of January, 1997 when the undersigned was a passenger in the vehicle driven by CAROLINE
SPENCER and said vehicle was involved in a collision with another vehicle in Augusta,
Richmond County, Georgia for which I have claimed the parties released herein to be legally
liable, which liability is hereby expressly denied.
In further consideration, the undersigned promises to bind herself and indemnify
and hold harmless the parties released herein for any sum of money that the parties herein
released shall be compelled to pay to the undersigned or any other party, including but not
lin1ited to medical, hospital, and physiciaJD. claims ilnd/orliens, as a result of the injuries sustained
by the undersigned in the above stated incident. The undersigned further warrants that at the time

It is expressly acknowledged by the undersigned that this release does not
constitute a waiver of sovereign or official immunity by the parties released herein.
