AFFIDAVIT OF DESCENT
RE: Property of ROBERT LEE HICKSON
Year Support Order, Estate of Quincy H. Hickson
File #8045A, Year Support Book YY, page 315
Richmond County Records
The undersigned Deponent, being duly sworn, deposes and says on oath that he
was personally acquainted with Robert Lee Hickson, deceased, over a period in excess of
fifteen years; that Deponent is not related to said decedent; that said decedent died
intestate, a resident of the City of Augusta, County of Richmond, State of Georgia, on the
18th day of September, 1971; that all Federal Estate Taxes, if any, and all debts of the
estate have been fully paid.
Deponent further says on oath that the decedent acquired an interest in the
property described on Exhibit A by virtue of a Order for Year Support in the Estate of
Quincy H. Hickson, dated March 5, 1962 and recorded in the Records of the Probate
Court (former Ordinary) in Years Support Book YY, page 315.
Deponent further says on oath that said decedent was not married during his life.
Deponent further says on oath that no children were ever born to or adopted by
said decedent.
Deponent further says on oath that the decedent was predeceased by his father,
Quincy H. Hickson and his mother, Isabella Hickson, aka Isabelle Hickson.
Deponent further says on oath that the decedent was survived by the following
siblings, to wit: Samuel L. Hickson, Bennie W. Hickson, Rena M. Hickson, Luci
Kissideu aka Luci M. Hickson-Kissiede, William H. Hickson, James Q. Hickson and
Quincy Mae Hickson. Deponent says on oath that all of said heirs are still living and.are
of sound mind.
Deponent further says on oath that the aforementioned siblings have conveyed
their interest in the subject property to Samuel L. Hickson, by the following deeds of
record in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Richmond County, Georgia:
Quit Claim Deed from William H. Hickson and James Q. Hickson to
Samuel L. Hickson dated March 15, 1983 and recorded in Realty Reel
182, page 795.

Quit Claim Deed from Lucy M. Hickson-Kissiede to Samuel L. Hickson
dated March 15, 1983 and recorded in Realty Reel 182, page 793.
Quit Claim Deed from Bennie W. Hickson to Samuel L. Hickson dated
January 6, 1984 and recorded in Realty Reel 182, page 791.
Quit Claim Deed from Quincy M. Hickson and Rena M. Hickson granting
a life estate to Samuel L. Hickson dated June 15, 1983 and recorded in
Realty Reel 166, page 144.
Quit Claim Deed from Quincy M. Hickson and Rena M. Hickson to
Samuel L. Hickson dated August 3, 1984 and recorded in Realty Reel 187,
page 1967.
This affidavit is made with the understanding that it will be relied upon by
prospective purchasers or lenders dealing with the heirs herein named.
