It's our position that, if it can't be measured, then it can't be managed. Effective measurement begins with the simple, yet disciplined, use of QBIC III. Effective management, results from the powerful data output generated from QBIC III high integrity relational database files and reports. Significant benefits will accrue in the operating costs, comfort, reliability, and safety of any facility. At this time, we offer several QBIC III programs to meet the needs of our clients. Dependent upon your needs, we offer two Windows-based systems, QBICWin for Windows version 2.0, and QBICFlex for Windows version 1.0. QBICWin for Windows version 2.0 is a non-flexible system. The modules, fields, prompts, and menu options may not be modified by the end user. However, representatives of QBIC III Systems, Inc. can perform any necessary modifications to the QBICWin modules and screens; add, edit or delete data fields and create entire program modules, specific to your operation/facility type and equipment profile. In essence, the system adapts to your current or planned method of operation making the transition to a user-friendly, computerized operation as smooth and transparent as possible. Currently, we offer a flexible QBICFlex version 1.0 for Windows. This flexible system is fully customizable to mirror and enhance the daily operations of maintaining even the most complex facilities. These systems allow you to fully customize and enhance the program to meet the operational needs of your facility. End users can modify screens and windows; add, edit or delete data fields and create entire program modules, specific to your operation/facility type and equipment profile. Essentially, these flexible systems provide the end user, based upon security access, to have extensive control of the software program and design. QBICFlex has been written to utilize the system and program files in our current QBIC III version 7.1 or QBIC III version 6.1, with little or no 'additional modifications. QBIC III is an open architecture system designed to integrate with other facility management technologies. Within these files, you can define the structure of databases to hold your collected information, menus to prompt users and input screens for your data gathering. The data can be downloaded from your handheld device to your computer. QBIC III has the ability to easily upload the collected data into the appropriate files, whether they are the Workorder, Labor, Materials, Stock, Component or any other files you choose. Therefore, you can complete your workorders, add labor hours, and materials used all without having to do any manual data entry. The system files are all relational which provides a one to many data posting format for input by the user and comprehensive report output for the manager. IMPLEMENTA TION Implementation services provide customers the ability to gain control of their operations in a timely and efficient manner. Normally, customer staffing levels do not permit the concurrent use of time to manage daily workloads as well as implement state of the art technologies. It is our experience that the number one cause of failure for all Computerized Management Systems is implementation or lack thereof. QBIC III Systems, Inc., provides implementation that brings it all together. The implementation process includes performing a needs analysis, establishing a baseline of existing data in both manual and electronic formats, data gathering, system modifications, mapping in data, scheduling preventive maintenance, creating specialized management reports, establishing data exchange links with other systems, and user training. ANNUAL MAINTENANCE Annual Maintenance for the QBIC III Computerized Facility Management System is a valuable service to all of our customers. It provides unlimited telephone support for users experiencing problems with the use of their system.
