II: ENGINEERING DESIGN: The engineering design will be accomplished in four (4) phases as follows: A. Conceptual Plan Submittal: Upon completion of the field sUNeys, a conceptual plan will be compiled. The plan will determine a general location of proposed water main installations and a system configuration that will facilitate construction activity, testing, sterilization, and seNice connections. B. Engineering Design (Completion @ 60%): Upon completion of, and agreement to, the conceptual design, the detailed engineering design process will commence. At a point that the design is approximately 60% complete, the plans will be submitted to Augusta Utilities and other relevant government agencies for review and comment. 1206 Interstate Parkway · Augusta, Georgia 30909 II. C. Engineering Design (Completion @ 90%): Upon receipt of review comments from the 60% completion submittal, the detailed engineering design process will continue. Plan revisions will be made as necessary to address any comments, concerns, or requirements expressed during the review process. At a point that the design is approximately 90% complete, the plans will be re-submitted to Augusta Utilities and other relevant government agencies for review and comment. D. Engineering Design (Completion @ 100%): Upon receipt of review comments from the 90% completion submittal, the detailed engineering design process will continue. Plan revisions will be made as necessary to address any comments, concerns, or requirements expressed during the review process. When the plans are 100% complete, the plans will be submitted to Augusta Utilities in both "hard copy" and "computer disk" format. III.
