Dear Tersa Smith:
KMC Telecom Augusta, Inc. (UKMC") has pre-surveyed the fiber optic lines that Richmond County
Public Works reques:ed be adjusted at the location(s) referred to in the enclosed paper work.
Acknowledgement of t:lis letter confirms that Richmond County Public Works agrees to pay all costs
incurred by KMC associated with the adjustments, including but not limited to engineering, construction,
labor costs, and post inspections of the fiber optic lines. The estimated cost to Richmond County Public
Works is $12,710.00, which covers make-ready for/on forty-nine (49) poles that will be invoiced by
KMC upon completion of the adjustment and shall be due and payable thirty (30) days after the invoice
date. The cost quoted above is good for sixty (60) days from the day of this letter. Please be advised
that KMC may invoice any additional costs associated with additional adjustments due to construction
conflicts or NESC violations at a later date. At no time should any employee, contractor or
representative of Richmond County Public Works adjust or arrange any of KMC's fiber optic lines
without written consen' by KMC.
Please have this letter signed below by an authorized representative of Richmond County Public Works
and return tlle original tJ KMC's attention at the above address, Attention: Jesse D. Aldridge. Upon
receipt, KMC will schecule the adjustment pending any permits or rights of way that may be necessary
for completion.
