a corporation having its principal place of business in
Richmond County
,hereinafter referred to as Grantor, and AUGUSTA"RICHMOND COUNTY,
a municipal corporation under the laws of Georgia, hereinafter referred to as Grantee;
WIT N E SSE T H:
That the said Grantor, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE DOLLAR ($1.00) in hand, well
and truly paid by the Grantee at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged, and other valuable con-sideration, has granted, bargained, sold, conveyed and
confirmed, and by these presents does grant, bargain, sell, convey and confirm unto the Grantee, its
successors and assigns, the rights-of-way and/or easements hereinafter identified:
[ X ] An easement or easements in perpetuity under, across and through the
appropriately marked strips of land, togethers with the pipelines and
appurtenances located therein which are delineated As Easement "B"

by Cranston. Robertson & Whitehurst. P.C.
dated 2115/96 , attached hereto and by reference made a part hereof; said
easement or easements being in the nature of a right-of-way for the purpose
of laying, relaying, installing, recon-structing, extending, operating, repairing
and maintaining pipelines transporting and carrying sanitary sewage, the same
hereinafter being referred to as the "project"; together with the right, when
construction or maintenance is necessary for the project; to pile thereon the
material excavated, and to haul pipe, supplies and equipment connected with
the construction and maintenance thereof, over, along and across the said
parcel of land. As a part of the consideration of said conveyance, the grantee
covenants that it shall maintain said pipelines as part of the utility system of
Augusta-Richmond County, Georgia.
The Grantor, his heirs, legal representatives, successors and assigns shall have the right to use
said strips or parcels of land in any manner not inconsistent or interfering with the rights herein granted.
excluding however, the right to erect, construct or maintain thereon any buildings or permanent
improvements.

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the aforesaid rights, ways, easements, privileges and appurtenances
unto said Grantee, its successors and assigns, in perpetuity.
And the said Grantor, his heirs, successors and legal representatives shall and will forever warrant
and defend unto the Grantee, its successors and assigns, the rights, ways, easements, privileges and
appurtenances conveyed herein against the claim or claims of any person or persons whomsoever.
