L. 1998, p. 4458), so as to change the compensation ofthejudge of the probate court; to provide an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes, BE IT ENACTED BY TIlE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA: SECTION 1. An Act establishing the compensation of certain officials in Richmond County, approved April 12, 1982 (Ga, L. 1982, p, 3941), as amended, particularly by an Act approved April 20, 1998 (Ga. L. ]998, p, 4458), is amended by striking Section I and inserting in lieu thereof the following: 'SECTION 1.
