Dear Mr. Kolb:
This letter is in reference to a change order request regarding Augusta Corporate Park.
The project is the entrance road to the Augusta Corporate Park being constructed by
Mabus Brothers Construction Company, Inc, and the project number is 323-06-
296050020.
The change order amount is $8,016.36, Additional documentation is enclosed, This
project was financed through the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST)
funds committed to the Development Authority of Richmond County for the
development of the Augusta Corporate Park. The Georgia Department of
Transportation's (DOT) plans had not been finished when the project was let. In order to
conform to the Georgia DOT's typical section at that location, it was required to have an
additional thickness of the road entrance at the Augusta Corporate Park,

We feel this.-isa legitimate request'since requifement~ for-ease and paving on.-the-Bepartment-of
Transportation right-of-way were not known at the-time of the- Augusta Corporate bid which is
also reinforced by a note on the Augusta Corporate plans,
