EASEMENT DEED OF DEDICATION
WHEREAS, Augusta, Georgia, for and on behalf of the Augusta Aviation
Commission and the Augusta Regional Airport at Bush Field, is the owner of certain
property located along Lock and Dam Road and Doug Barnard Parkway, being generally
identified as Tax Map 159, Parcel 2; and
WHEREAS, the Augusta Utilities Department desires to record a permanent
utility easement in perpetuity, hereinafter referred to a utility corridor, across this
property for the purpose of the immediate construction of a force gravity sewer main and
the future construction of additional utility lines; and
WHEREAS, Augusta desires to dedicate this utility corridor for the use of the
Augusta Utilities Department;
NOW, THEREFORE, THIS INDENTlJRE, made and entered into this i "-
day of A:tJG U ST ,2005, by Augusta, Georgia, a political subdivision of the State of
Georgia, hereinafter referred to as Party of the First Part, for the use and benefit of the
Augusta Utilities Department, a department of Augusta, Georgia, hereinafter referred to a
Party of the Second Part;
WITNESSETH:
The Party of the First Part, in consideration of the public benefit to be derived by
Augusta and its citizens and for valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of
which are hereby acknowledged, has granted, bargained, sold and conveyed, and by these
presence does hereby grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the Party of the Second Part all

trument as "Exhibit A"; to which plat reference is hereby made for a more complete and
urate description as to the metes, bounds and location of said property.
The Party of the First Part does also grant the Party of the Second Part the right to
er unto its property, within the guidelines of its rules and regulations concerning access, for
purpose of laying, relaying, installing, extending, operating, repairing and maintaining
elines transporting and carrying utility services.
The Party of the First Part does also agree that no other utilities may be constructed
hin the utility corridor except by written permission of the Augusta Utilities Department.
The Party ofthe First Part, its successors, assigns and legal representatives, after the
lpletion ofthis Project, shall have the right to use the utility corridor in any manner not
)nsistent or interfering with the rights herein granted.
To have and to hold the said utility corridor, together with all the singular ofthe rights,
fS, easements and appurtenances thereof, to the same being, belonging, or in anywise
ertaining, to the only proper use, benefit and behoof ofthe Party ofthe Second Part, its
cessors and assigns, forever.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Party of the First Part causes this instrument to be
cuted the day and year first above written.
