Re: 60" Raw Water Line Project
Dear Lena:
I am enclosing herewith two easements in favor of Augusta, Georgia, in
connection with the above Project, which have been recorded in the office of the Clerk
of the Superior Court of Richmond County, Georgia, on Reel 632, on the indicated
pages:
(1) Jariah Beard (Tax Map 34-1, Parcel 10), dated February 19, 1999,
recorded on pages 1327-1328; and
(2) Greater Mount Canaan Missionary Baptist Church (Tax Map 34-1,
Parcel 25), dated February 16, 1999, recorded on pages 1329-1330.

PROJECT Sixty-Inch Raw Water Line
WITNESSETH that Jariah Beard, the undersigned, is (are) the owner(s) of a tract of land in Augusta,
Georgia, which over, through, and across the above Project has been laid out by Cranston, Robertson &
Whitehurst, P. C., being more particularly described in a map and drawing of said project in the Augusta Public
Works/Engineering Office, to which reference is hereby made.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the benefit to said land by the construction and maintenance of said
Project, and in consideration of ONE DOLLAR ($1.00), in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, I do hereby grant, sell and convey to AUGUSTA, GEORGIA, a political subdivision of the State of
Georgia, a perpetual easement for the purpose and uses hereinafter set forth, over, through and across the following
lands, to-wit:
Said perpetual easement consists of 1,430 s. f., more or less, as shown on plat of the property prepared by
Cranston, Robertson & Whitehurst, P.e., dated September 14, 1998, revised N/A, attached hereto and made by
reference a part hereof for a more accurate and complete description of the perpetual easement.
ALSO granted is a temporary construction easement consisting of 400 s. f., more or less, as shown on said plat,
said temporary construction easement to expire at the completion and final acceptance of said Project by Augusta,
Georgia.
This easement is granted for the following purposes and uses, to-wit: sanitary sewer line.
The easement herein granted shall bind the heirs and assigns of the undersigned.

WITNESSETH that Greater Mount Cannaan Missionary Baptist Church, the undersigned, is (are) the
owner(s) of a tract of land in Augusta, Georgia, which over, through, and across the above Project has been laid
out by Cranston, Robertson & Whitehurst, P.c., being more particularly described in a map and drawing of said
project in the Augusta Public Works/Engineering Office, to which reference is hereby made.

reference a part hereof for a more accurate and complete description of the perpetual easement.
ALSO granted is a temporary construction easement consisting of 1,700 s. f., more or less, as shown on said
plat, said temporary construction easement to expire at the completion and final acceptance of said Project by
Augusta, Georgia.
This easement is granted for the following purposes and uses, to-wit: sanitary sewer line .
The easement herein granted shall bind the heirs and assigns of the undersigned.
