THIS INDENTURE, made this L day of March, 2000, by and
between FRED W. JOHNSON, JR., of Richmond County, Georgia, as party of the first part,
and AUGUSTA, GEORGIA, a political subdivision of the State of Georgia, as party of the
second part;
WIT N E SSE T H:
That the party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of Twenty-
Six Thousand Four Hundred and No/lOO ($26,400.00) Dollars, cash-in hand paid, receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, does hereby grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the party
of the second party, its successors and assigns, the following described property, to-wit:
All that tract or parcei of land, with any improvements thereon,
situate, lying and being in the 253rd G.M.D., Richmond
County, State of Georgia, consisting of 2.20, located East of Old
Waynesboro Road, all as shown on plat prepared by James G.
Swift & Associates, dated January?, 2060, attached hereto and
made by reference a part hereof for a more complete and
accurate description as to metes, bounds, distances and location.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said parcel of land, together with all rights,

ways and appurtenances thereto belonging or in anywise appertaining unto the party of the
